Paddy McDonnell

Paddy Mc Donnell was born near the banks of the famous river Moy and has been fishing the wild rivers and lakes of the West of Ireland from childhood. He started guiding Salmon, Trout, and Pike fly fishers as a teenager and has helped thousands of fly fishers maximise their potential as anglers.

Paddy is a very relaxed and natural teacher of fly casting and fly-fishing technique and has written many articles on these subjects for various fishing magazines. In the past he has been a member of the Irish trout fly fishing team and the Irish fly-casting team.

Paddy’s motto is – A lifetime is too short to learn all there is to know about fly fishing totally on your own, so why not shorten your learning curve and learn from the experience of others.
