Over the weekend, Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce participated in the 16th Annual Mike’s Seafood 5K Run/Walk for Autism in New Jersey, and according to him, the walk option was just fine.

After the race, the 36-year-old NFL star replied to a post on social media clarifying his level of participation in the event.

“Jason Kelce ran a 5K to raise money for autism,” Fox Sports 5 posted on X, prompting the elder Kelce brother to respond. “‘Ran’ is a generous verb for what occurred,” Kelce said, referring to his pace during the 5K. “But we had a blast,” Kelce added.

In November, a kelly green Eagles varsity jacket modeled by Kylie was auctioned off for $100,000, benefiting the foundation. The winning bid was made by Eagles superfans Rob McElhenney and Kaitlin Olson of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

The 295-pound Eagles center did run the fastest 40-yard dash time among offensive linemen at the 2011 NFL Scouting Combine, with a time of 4.89 seconds—not a time that will have him Races & Places Running Shoes & Gear.

While he may be staying active during the offseason, Eagles fans still await word as to whether or not Kelce will be returning for his 14th season later this year.
