On Friday, Adidas and the Boston Athletic Association (BAA) announced the 2024 edition of the Boston Marathon celebration jacket. The jacket will be available for online purchase adidas WMNS Stan Smith Prime Green 23.5cm.
With the 2024 Paris Olympics on the horizon next summer, Adidas used a red-white-and-blue colorway as a reference the French flag, as well as integrated the BAA’s blue and gold color scheme.
“The Boston Marathon is a pinnacle moment in the sports world,” said Jennifer Thomas, Vice President of Global Sports Marketing at Adidas, in a statement. “We wanted to honor that while nodding to what will undoubtedly be a pinnacle moment in not just running, but sport this summer, as thousands of athletes Let their way to Paris. The colorway is also an allusion to the flags of the United States and Norway. The 2024 Boston Marathon is set for April 15 of next year, which will be the 128th running of the race.
