Alastair Peake, affectionately known as Al, brings over 18 years of invaluable expertise to the realm of fly fishing. With a keen focus on targeting Atlantic salmon in the rugged terrains of Scotland and Norway, as well as pursuing wild trout amidst the scenic Highlands, Al's passion for guiding began at The Grimersta in the Isle of Lewis and then moved to the incomparable South Island, New Zealand before settling in Scotland. Al now leads expeditions across Scotland, Norway, and the enchanting vistas of Patagonia. Al is a certified casting instructor in both single-handed and double-handed disciplines. Al enjoyed nothing more than sharing his knowledge through engaging lessons at the TwinPeakes fly fishing school. Whether casting lines on Scottish rivers or exploring the remote fjords of Norway, Al is dedicated to helping others learn more and enjoy unforgettable fly fishing experiences.
