The Velos LBP is SilencerCo's answer for customers seeking optimal performance from a 5.56mm silencer. It uses a low back-pressure technology to reduce overall blowback while maintaining impressive sound suppression. The Velos LBP is constructed of a 3D printed inconel 625 core fully welded to 17-4 stainless steel front and rear modules, making this product unlike anything else on the market. It is also full-auto rated and the most durable suppressor SilencerCo has ever made.

Minimizing back pressure - improving the shooting experience. The Velos LBP was designed with low back-pressure technology to reduce the amount of gas that is blown back into the shooter's face and affects the host firearm's operating system. At the same time, it maintains impressive sound suppression on 5.56 cartridges, setting it above the competition.

The Velos LBP is our most durable suppressor due, in part, to the inclusion of our patented Hoplon® blast baffle. This blast baffle deflects debris, increasing the lifespan of the suppressor on short-barreled and full-auto firearms. To top it all off we used V-Series Cerakote to make sure that the finish will hold up to extreme use.

The Velos LBP is a dedicated .223 REM / 5.56 NATO suppressor, compatible with SilencerCo's Charlie accessories and it has no barrel length restrictions.

Includes: Internal Charlie Flash Hider Front Cap, a Charlie ASR mount, an ASR Flash Hider 1/2 x 28 inch, a spanner wrench, and a Charlie tool.

A: Suppressors/ silencers are legal but are regulated by federal law and on a state-by-state basis by the Nation Firearm Act (NFA) branch of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (BATFE). The eight states that currently do not allow individuals to own silencers / supressors are California, Delaware, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachussetts, New York, New Jersey, and the Rhode Island.

Q: What does a supressor do; how does it work?
A: A suppressor is a muzzle device that works by dampening the gas that leaves the barrel after each shot. Inside the tube of the suppressor are rings, called baffles, that slow down the gas. When a round is fired normally, the gas leaves the barrel super hot and concentrated, creating a loud report. While a suppressor does reduce some of the sound and muzzle flash, it does not eliminate it completely.
