The CCM Tacks AS-580 Skates pack an incredible amount of performance and comfort at an approachable mid-price point. CCM used a pro-level, RocketFrame Composite One-Piece Boot that is truly elite and provides better speed and fit with less weight.

RocketFrame is ideal for the highly-competitive power player looking for top-end speed without sacrificing mobility or comfort. Much like the boot, the upgraded memory foam ankle pads closely hug the natural contours of the foot for a custom-like fit before they are even broken in.

The HD microfiber liner is extra soft to the touch and features the new Seamless Comfort collar padding. Unlike traditional collar pads that can cause ankle irritation, the padding is seamlessly integrated into the liner for ultimate comfort. Even the new PowerFlex Tendon Guard has padding on the internal side, which is very welcomed during maximum leg extension as players hit their explosive stride.

For your convenience, these skates have been sharpened prior to shipping out so you are ready to hit the ice.

Features

  • SpeedBlade XS Tongue System - An easy and secure clip system gives you the ability to use one of three aftermarket CCM tongues. Slim is the lightest and slimmest, which reduces weight and increases internal volume. Regular is the most similar to the stock tongue but comes with D3O Smart Foam for top-tier protection. Extra is thickest and most protective, which also reduces internal volume.
  • One-Piece Boot - Compared to its two-piece counterparts, the One-Piece design is lighter, better at transferring energy and better wraps around the foot for an improved fit. What does this mean? One-Piece boots make players quicker and faster.
  • SpeedBlade XS Holder - This quick-releasing system keeps you on the ice and off the bench since swapping out runners is easier than ever. The mechanical dial ensures the runners won't pop out when taking a big shot to the holder either.
