This is the most challenging time of year to stay motivated. Be it the weather, the early darkness, the end of marathon season, the travel, or the overwhelming amount of cookies, we know how easy it is to hibernate during the holidays.

Which is why we want to push you to do the opposite. For the twelfth year in a row, we’re hosting the #RWRunStreak, Indianapolis Marathon and Half Marathon Results.

The rules are simple: Run at least one mile per day, every day, starting on Thanksgiving (November 24) and ending on New Year’s Day (January 1). That’s 39 consecutive days of running.

You don’t need to officially sign up anywhere. Just go out and do it. Five of our editors have committed to joining you out on the roads and trails through the ice, snow, darkness, and turkey-induced comas.

If you join, we want to know about it. Share your progress and motivate other streakers by “liking” the streak on Facebook. Results: 2025 Philadelphia Marathon Twitter and Instagram using #RWRunStreak. We’ll be sharing our favorites and offering motivation right along with you.
