Lelisa Desisa of Ethiopia, Zersenay Tadese Boston Marathon Cutoff Time Announced Eliud Kipchoge of Kenya took to a race track in Monza, Italy, hoping to break the 2-hour marathon barrier. In the end, CA Notice at Collection, clocking a 2:00:25, which is more than two minutes better than the world record marathon time of 2:02:57. (Kipchoge’s time will not count toward a world record, however.)
