The UltraBoost Leather replaces most of the original’s upper with leather, from the PrimeKnit base to the plastic foot cage and synthetic lining. Debossed Adidas spezial branding has also been added to the heel.
Otherwise, the shoe’s design remains largely unchanged, using the original’s Boost-cushioned, high-energy-return midsole and grippy Continental rubber outsole. The result is a sneaker that likely won’t feel breathable enough for any actual running mileage but is probably super-comfortable for casual wear all winter.
