Chris Bladen from South Africa returns to the EWF as an exhibitor!
An avid catch-and-release fly fisherman and passionate birder, Chris has developed an exceptional eye for detail through his close encounters with nature. His dedication to authenticity drives him to study each species meticulously, often traveling extensively to observe them in their natural habitats.
Chris is one of the rare sculptors involved in every stage of the bronze sculpting process —from sketching and molding to casting and the chemical patination. His vibrant patination techniques are particularly celebrated, adding a distinctive character to his creations. His sculptures have earned recognition from collectors around the world.
Chris’s work is currently exhibited at several galleries, including the Charles Greig Gallery in Johannesburg, Jouel at The Quadrant in Victoria, Seychelles, Kalk bay Modern in Cape Town, Ebony/Curated in Franschhoek and Tailwaters, Texas.
Chris will be exhibiting several fish sculptures and jewellery at the EWF.
