I began fly fishing in 1974 and caught my first salmon on a fly rod in 1975. Since then, I have dedicated my life to this wonderful sport.
During over 50 years of fly fishing, I have fished mostly in Norway. I live in the central part of Norway where we have many rivers. Some of them are the best salmon rivers in the country.
I started working for Guideline in 1996, and I have been with them ever since. I am a company representative providing service to retail outlets.
In addition, I have a small company called Granbo Flyfishing, providing slideshows and casting and fishing instruction. I have made many videos about fly fishing for salmon.
When it comes to fly casting, I am best known for the Scandinavian style with a two-handed rod. Over the years, thousands of fly fishers have participated in my courses in order to learn this style. I have also visited many different fly-fishing shows, both in Norway and other countries, to demonstrate the style.
