For me, fly tying is more than just a craft – it is precision, experience and passion. I have been dedicated to this discipline for over 30 years. Under my label, Northern Flytying, I have been working as a professional fly tier at the very highest level for around 15 years. I have also been a member of the Ahrex Pro Team since 2019.
My flies are born of experience, not chance.
Selected materials, precise techniques and exceptional durability form the core of my work. One of my best-known creations is the 100% original ‘72er’. A selection of my premium flies was published in the special edition ‘Fisch & Fliege No. 12’. You can meet me in person at major trade fairs such as the EWF and the Danish Fly Fair.
I find my inspiration on the coasts of the German and Danish Baltic Sea, on the salmon rivers of Norway, and in the saltwater fisheries of the Caribbean. Each of these fisheries shapes the design, function and character of my flies.
