Ralf, CI at Fly Fishers International, has been a fly fisherman through and through for 30 years.
Since he first ventured into the Bavarian Forest with a fly in 1995, he has been so enthusiastic about the sport and the region that he moved from the Ruhr area to the "Woid" (Bavarian Forest) in 2006 and turned his hobby into his profession.
He is an absolute dry fly purist, and if it absolutely has to be a streamer (he can't even spell nymph), then he prefers to fish it on the surface. Here at the EWF, Ralf will entertainingly demonstrate that the straight path doesn't always lead to the goal and will playfully dispel numerous prejudices and habits.
