When Lululemon’s 2024 Further campaign commenced, we sat in awe from our desks, couches, and subway rides as we scrolled through updates, becoming inspired by the 10 women who ran for six straight days at Lake Cahuilla in La Quinta, California. For a hot minute, a couple of us thought, Maybe I This product launch includes the long-anticipated Go Further Split Short Runsie ultrarunners Published: Jun 09, 2025 4:17 PM EDT Herron got real with us and listed lip and mouth swelling, a UTI, and bladder and bowel incontinence, and we realized our aspirations were to look The Shoes and Gear Kipyegon Will Wear at Breaking4.
Lululemon had a soft launch in April when it released the The Best Cushioned Running Shoes. Now the entire Further capsule is available—including the coveted Runsie. The kit underwent six days of rigorous and thorough testing, accumulating over 2,880 miles in total.
Here’s everything you need to look like you ran Further, piece by piece.
When I heard Lululemon would eventually release apparel from the Further campaign, my first question was, “Are we getting a Runsie?”
The one-piece is made of smooth, lightweight material called Ultralu. The waistband has 360-degree storage. It also features an easy-to-use pull function for quick breaks. Read: you don’t have to use a port-a-potty completely naked.
The The Best Cushioned Running Shoes was given rousing acclaim after it was tested by the RW staff. “She is my new favorite,” said Senior Features Editor Pavlína Černá. “If I were ever forced to choose just one of my bras to run in for the rest of my running life, she would be it.”
Why we love it: Soft Nulu material, which is the same fabric used in Lululemon’s leggings. It controls bounce with Support Code technology, a bonding technique that maintains the natural shape of the breast while also providing movement management.
This top has it all: Pockets in the chest, upper, and mid-back for ice storage; a front cutout for ventilation, and laser-cut edges to prevent chafing.
The beauty of the Further capsule (besides looking like an ultra-human) is that you get to pick and choose outfits. Still not wild about running in a one-piece? You can pair the tank with these run shorts, which have the same inseam length (3 inches) and offer 360-degree storage, just like the Runsie. The split-leg design also allows for increased mobility and ventilation.
Not into a 3-inch inseam? Lululemon has you covered with an 8-inch short that has side drop pockets, as well as 360-degree storage in the waistband (are you seeing a theme here?). Like all products in the collection, every detail of the High Rise Race Short is constructed with care: no medial seam on the pant legs, velvety flocking instead of a drawcord on the waistband, and quick-drying Nulux fabric.
The High Rise Race Tight is basically a longer inseam version of the High Rise Race Short. You have 28 inches of coverage on the legs, the same 360-degree pocket waistband, and drop-in compartments on the sides, along with smooth-as-smooth cooling Nulux fabric.
Put together, this collection is great for ultrarunners, to be sure, but it’s also a fantastic option for athletes seeking comfort, support, style, and a confidence boost.
