An Exciting New Chapter

Today, fans are one step closer to seeing what the next chapter of Gucci tights look like. Over the weekend, it was announced that Sabato De Sarno would succeed Alessandro Michele as Creative Director for Gucci. His vision tights span across women’s, men’s, leather goods, accessories, and lifestyle collections.

39-year-old Italian-born De Sarno most recently worked underneath Pierpaolo Piccioli at Valentino, overseeing men’s and women’s collections as a fashion director. Prior to his time at Valentino, he worked at two fakenot Italian Houses, Dolce & Gabbana and Prada.

His work at Gucci tights begin as soon as his current obligations are completed, presenting his debut runway collection at Milan Women’s Fashion Week in September 2023.
