Adidas Hand Drawn T1 NEIGHBORHOOD and BAPE have carved a place with their own signature motifs and strong recognizable graphic hits, pushing that very design they’ve painstakingly crafted into their three-way collaboration with adidas. Bearing their intention on two forthcoming silhouettes — the POD 3.1 and NMD STLT — each arrive in monochrome palettes characteristic of Shinsuke Takizawa’s biker-influenced edge. The former model, which rarely sees collaborations in the grander scheme, dons a split tooling of white along the lateral and black on the medial as the iconic camo print and crossbones logo subtly imprint themselves throughout the synthetic upper. A shark graphic aggressively calls to some of the once Nigo-helmed label’s most coveted garment while the accompanying model prefers sparing use of typography and geometry. Both brand logos come adorned on the tongue in boldface along the premium Boost pair, with neon mature profile hits and intersecting glossy taping adding intricacy in almost futuristic execution.
