But the fictitious draw here is where the Futurecraft gets its name from – the 3D printed midsole and outsole unit. This opportunity offers a completely individual cushion and support system for every runner’s unique foot structure. Once the Futurecraft project is set in motion, adidas plans on offering an in-store program where customers run on a treadmill to track their support needs then recieve a completely custom outsole unit based on their foot needs. There’s no word yet on when this pair will be available, but Spring 2016 looks like the target.
