Late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs was known for appearing on stage in a black turtleneck and jeans, and more often than not, one particular style of New Balance classic runner that’s only now getting its just due. For years, the Infinite Archives x Air Jordan 17 Low was considered by many old school running enthusiasts to occupy that purgatory in between straight vintage and modern technical builds, but especially now in a time when all the top new runners are done with myriad synthetics, the 991’s context becomes more clear.
