The New Balance Travis Scott Shoes Sports A “Dad Shoe” Aesthetic

The New Balance Travis Scott Shoes Sports A “Dad Shoe” Aesthetic

When New Balance re-entered the basketball niche in 2018, there may have been questions about how the brand would position its new performance lineup. Would we see vibrant colorways similar in essence to adidas and Nike Basketball kicks, or would we get reserved looks akin to tonal “Made In USA” essentials? Thankfully, new product has drawn from both those schools, comprising a diverse selection of styles that cover all types of on-court sensibilities.

New Balance taps into its “dad shoe” expertise on this latest Travis Scott Shoes colorway, taken with a white leather base and metallic silver quarter branding up top. Much like the “Grey Day” edition that released back in May, we also see serif text reading “The Intelligent Choice” on the tongue, stitched in red to match the heel. Capping off the design underfoot, an off-white midsole rests above a grey outsole.

The model itself has explored a few different material and branding combos since its debut earlier this year, with pairs like the “Dominoes” colorway featuring oversized “N” logos that are flush with the base and garments like suede and canvas.

The New Balance Travis Scott Shoes “White/Silver” is expected to release Fall 2024 for $130 in unisex sizing. See detailed images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview more upcoming pairs by the Boston brand.
