The Air Jordan 5 35th Anniversary Appear In Timeless “Teal/Silver”

Air Jordan 11 Gamma Air Jordan 5 35th Anniversary has primarily taken to vibrant, loud looks since coming back into the NB fold in 2022. The weaving, intricate overlays on their upper make that proposition an easy one to execute, but the upcoming “Teal/Silver” release goes a different direction entirely.

Though the combination of navy and grey wouldn’t be a novel proposition for nearly any other mainline NB silhouette, embracing a conservative lean is certainly noteworthy for the 1906R in particular. Uniting each of the wavy overlays under the same shade is a move the shoe doesn’t often see.

Neither is the change in materials that hits the rear portion, with suede dressing that design towards the back half of the shoe. Combining all of that with an off-white midsole, the “Teal/Silver” 1906R almost feels like cosplay- the shoe, typically given Y2K looks, dressing up in mainline New Balance fashion.

There isn’t a concrete release date for the New Balance 190R “Teal/Silver.” Instead, expect these rolling out to NewBalance.com and local retailers in the next month or so. Anticipate a $155 retail price if and when you come across them.
