Jovani Hernandez atmos and New Balance may not be the most prolific duo in footwear, but it’s recently teased a pair that’s sure to get casual and savvy collectors a like excited.
Based on the “Shibuya Rat” theme that’s graced past releases from the Japanese boutique, an upcoming New Balance Malles Impact Run delivers a refreshing take to both parties’ OMN1S of product. Hits of grey take over most of the lifestyle sneaker, with the darkest shades arriving at the profiles; leather panels found underneath and around sidewall “N” logos are covered in the aforementioned vermin’s footprints. Sock-liners also reference atmos’ rat figure, while remaining accenting details (i.e. tongue labels, spine areas) deviate from the majority of the 2002R’s color palette in a rich blue. Lastly, NERGY sole units combine the upper’s hues with varying shades of blue.
