Although the the only sneaker MJ wore with 45 was the Air Jordan X is a newer entry to NIKE, Inc.’s roster, the silhouette has quickly garnered attention for its classic design and modern-day comfort. For its latest proposition, the Zoom Air-equipped model has indulged in a predominantly “Fireberry” color.
Suede overlays atop a lightweight textile base boast the titular pinkish tone. Cutout profile swooshes and underlays across the upper deliver stark black contrast, as do the laces, exposed foam tongue and “wings” logo on the lateral ankle flap. As noted by the label on the tongue, the Jordan 1-variant’s three-tone sole unit encapsulates Zoom Air-cushioning, which was only introduced to Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe in December 2019.
An official Nike SNKRS release date is in the works, but hasn’t been disclosed yet. While you wait, enjoy images of the shoes ahead.
