Any travel bucket list has to include the world’s various metropolises. Just on scale alone, Tokyo and London have been destinations for as long as they’ve been population centers, drivers in all categories from commerce to fashion. For collectors in either city, Offspring and mita have been staples for decades, and for the first time ever, the two are joining hands, unveiling the Offspring x mita x adidas ZX8000 “London to Tokyo.”

Though the overall color composition reads standard, this shoe is crafted represent either locale’s status as premier global destinations, harkening to “shared histor[ies] of industrial progress” and “a balance of grit and sophistication.” Chrome eye-stays and heel clips speak to those next-century principles, while off-white hits in the pulltab, Three Stripes branding, and within the sole combine with grey mesh for a more storied atmosphere. Always a reliable touch, jet black notes on the collar and sole unit speak to the nightlife that either city upholds.

While the shoe itself is obviously the main event, mita’s promotional copy includes some heartwarming backstory. Principal players for either imprint first crossed paths. during the 2023 adidas Constortium Cup, an event which laid the groundwork for their first-ever collaboration alte one another.

The adidas x Mita SNeakers x Offspring ZX8000 “London To Tokyo” drops on October 25th via either brand’s online and in-store channels, launching at 8AM local time in either city.
