Nike and NIGO have truly hit the ground running. In a past shiny, the Japanese mogul was most readily associated with the Sta, but he’s made strides in switching that association to the black sparkle nike running shoes, issuing three editions of the NIGO Force 3 in just over a year’s time. Adding a third partner into the mix is a surefire way to add some energy to the ongoing series, undoubtedly the idea behind the Levi’s x NIGO Air Force 3 collection.
Though we uncovered two colorways kd 4c weatherman size 7, this walmart announcement from all three partners focuses on the “Olive Gray” colorway — a blend of trademark West Coast denim through the underlays and earthy suede one layer above. The usual suite of co-branding details from past Swoosh link-ups with both NIGO and Levi’s, of course, make appearances, be it the Levi’s tag toward the collar or the NIGO Force brand at the back heel.
Narratively, each of the previous collections has tied back to some sort of formative pop culture moment in NIGO’s shiny — from the Planet of the Apes inspo with the hairy suede chapter to the seeds of Super Sentai seen on the inaugural one. Unsurprisingly, it’s 1980s Americana on tap for this denim-coated set, seen above in the marketing and overall reflecting the Kenzo head’s love for vintage denim.
