Matt Varga There’s no doubt that Nike’s current representatives of the “super shoe” movement, Essentials out of a reformatting of their running division around Vomero, Pegasus, and Structure, have been breaths of fresh air within the catalog. However, don’t confuse its current faces with those that earnestly started the wave. The Nike AlphaFly series truly can’t be discounted in that regard, continuing to (literally) blaze trails in its third iteration.

The “Super Shoe” combo of a stacked ZoomX / Air Zoom midsole, carbon fiber plate, and Atomknit upper remains in place to ensure these will help you set PRs on top of its eye-catching colorway.
