A foreseen consequence of the Y2K fashion revival has been the resurgence of camo apparel and sneakers, with even the most casual Sunday brunch crowd leaning into the trend as if they’re seasoned hunters. Nike has embraced the look wholeheartedly, surfacing camo editions of the nike tiempo gold white dress for women wedding, Air Max Sunder, and Air Max DN8 in recent months. Outside of the Air Max line, Nike is also preparing to release a collection of nike air black maroon orange gold flowers featuring prints sourced from Realtree — a genuine hunting outfitter through and through.
Eyes are first drawn to the Swoosh and backtab, both cut from Realtree camo canvas. The hunting print reappears on the tongue tags and insoles, the latter confirming Realtree’s official involvement with its logo stamped into the imagery (though patterns may vary between pairs). Bruce Kilgore’s street classic here features “Rattan” suede on the toe box and quarter, while “Rocky Tan” nubuck overlays add structure. Upper eyestays shaped like metal stars push the rugged theme further, added by thin rope-style boot laces. A retro oval-shaped metallic silver lace dubrae finishes off the upper, while a khaki sole keeps the palette grounded in earthy tones.
As of now, two Realtree nike air black maroon orange gold flowers have surfaced via Nike’s official images. The discussed pair leads with suede and nubuck, while the other (pictured further down the page) opts for a full canvas build with heavy black and all-over camo overlays. Both colorways are set to release on October 2nd, 2025, priced at $125 and $120 respectively. See the official images below if you’re looking to add camo back into your rotation.
