The New Balance 990v1 Grey Tan “Black Metallic” Swatches In Green Accents

Releasing alongside a "Bred" colorway.

The New Balance 990v1 Grey Tan “Black Metallic” Swatches In Green Accents

The New Balance lifestyle category is far more crowded today than it was at the top of 2025; a natural result of the brand debuting three new models in the span of just three months. While not as nearly as splashy as cuts like the 2000 and New Balance 204L, the Boston brand has also grown the 1906 tech runner family with another spinoff called the 1906W. Here we have a “Black Metallic” colorway featuring green accents landing Fall 2025.

Official images arrive on the heels of a “Bred” 1906W of similar vein, complete with a “Black Metallic” foundation and green (as opposed to red) hits on the ABZORB SBS cushioning and N-lock logo. The 1906W is distinguished by a full-length cage made of Fantomfit material, which is designed to contain the foot without adding much weight. While hard to spot from a distance, this “Black Metallic/Green” colorway incorporates a subtle carbon fiber finish.

Expect the New Balance 990v1 Grey Tan “Black Metallic/Green” to release through newbalance.com and retailers in the coming months for $155. Scroll through the official image gallery below and hit our Sneaker Release Dates New Balance M2002R Tonal Gray 25.5cm.
