That’s right: Converse is releasing the “Butter” colorway of the new SGA shoes exclusively in Oklahoma City at a special activation held at the “MVP” mural on 626 W Main St. in the heart of the city.
Detailed via a flyer posted on its Instagram, Converse Hoops will be offering a chance for locals to cop the debut colorway of the highly anticipated signature shoe. The release will take place between the hours of 1-3pm local time (2-4pm ET) and will be hosted by basketball content creator Jay Jones and music by DJ Keilo. More updates to come.
Thus far, a total of six colorways of the SGA Converse shoes have been revealed: Butter, Ares Grey, Charm Black, Hail Clay, Masi Blue, and Trophy Gold. It’s not clear which of this half-dozen is hitting retail, but it’s seems likely that all but the gold pair will eventually hit the market.
