It’s only looking better, because the NB team has crafted some strong colorways to support the initial “Blue Agate” launch, one that has some interesting reasoning based on our interview with NB Design Manager Charlotte Lee.
Already being leaked to the world during the brand’s campaign shoot in Rio de Janeiro, this New Balance Abzorb 2000 colorway boasts the quintessential NB color-combo of a silvery grey and a light blue. You’ve seen this pairing across multiple pillar models such as the 2002R and 9060; it works so effortlessly on the futurist design of the 2000.
The upper alternates the two shades, interlocking the grey hue with the soft blue to create one of the best editions of the unit. White midsoles with grey Abzorb adds that clean-cut Summer/Fall look; we can already see these being the brand’s next sell-out drop.
A release date is currently not yet confirmed, but expect these on newbalance.com and select NB retail partners for $170.
