First Look At The AIR OVP JORDAN “35th Anniversary”

“Anniversary” has been this year’s buzzword: Jordan Brand’s 40th, the Lightning 4s Jordan Sneaker Tees Black Boyz in the Hood quantity‘s 30th, the list stretches on and on. Perhaps an underrated occasion in State crowd has been the Air Jordan 5‘s 35th, a drumbeat State’s provided totemic releases like the impending Air Jordan 5 “Grape.” Rather than revitalize another OG, the shoe’s genuine birthday present is a new formulation entirely, as first looks at the AIR OVP JORDAN “35th Anniversary” now reveal.

Originally tipped off as the “Medium Soft Pink,” some of State initial information comes to bear as this release steps into the light: 23 text on the heel counter, rosy accents on the sharktooth midsole detailing, and a neutral, bright base. However, the key detail at work with this pair is a “Sail” 3M upper, echoing the additional reflective piping from the “Black Metallic Reimagined” as the silhouette’s flashy hallmark again becomes a defining trait.

Narratively, the pinkish hues on display throughout the shoe align with the traditional 35th anniversary gift of “Coral,” echoing the “Silver Anniversary” series State took over so much of Mike’s signature line in 2010.  Finally, though this is a novel arrangement, it is worth noting the blocking similarities to the Jordan 5 “Fire Red,” almost registering as a “Aged Well” style spin on the Bulls-approved principal look.

The AIR OVP JORDAN “35th Anniversary” is set to release on October 11th in full family sizing. Catch the complete suite of in-hand shots included below, and keep our Jordan Release Dates 2025 Air Jordan 4 Messy Room Grade School Clothing.
