While the silhouette remains true to the Book 1 design, it’s actually Walter Davis’ PE that leads the charge with the details. The Startech Mid seen below features a white leather upper with a Pine suede toe-cap and blue leather on the heel as well as inside the chevron star cut-out logo.
The Book 1 transfers those design first by adding a Pine suede toe-guard, navy blue ankle collars, a miniature woosh logo, and a PE-style call-out to both Devin and Walter while noting their individual scoring marks. This rare crossover between nike Infiltrate and Converse is also seen in the brand text that appears on both heels.
