Jordan Brand Bans Random Travis Scott x Nike Air Jordan 6 British Khaki UK 8.5 Pairs On Nike.com

It continues to be the dominant story in the opening ADG of 2025: the return of the Air Jordan 1 “Bred” and the nearly unprecedented weight that Beaverton is throwing behind it. To recap what’s transpired in both official and unofficial fashion, the Jumpman kicked things off with a promo teaser asking “What if we hadn’t paid the fine,” deactivated all of its social media profiles, threw the blogosphere into chaos by announcing just 23 stores would receive the shoes, and enlisting the Chicago Bulls to blur out their Rivalry Pack Air Jordan 1 KO High. In their latest move, Nike, Inc. is stretching the “Banned” concept onto Nike.com.

Seemingly circling back to that first promo move, now we return to the hypothetical realm with black bar logos censoring out many Jordan 1 releases on the official site. While no proper Jordan 1 Highs are around in enough quantity to get this treatment, we do note with interest that it’s many of the offshoots from that iconic silhouette that are affected: the Jordan 1 High Golf, Jordan 1 Brooklyn, Jordan 1 Method of Make, Jordan 1 Mid and Jordan 1 Low.  In line with that social media teaser, Beaverton’s message is essentially, “If we and Mike didn’t kickstart the Air Jordan legacy, watch just how much of our catalog and your wardrobe would look different,” a pretty novel spin on a story they’ve already spotlighted plenty through the past few decades.

If you’re looking to spruce up the rotation or have a special occasion coming up (maybe an eye on Nike Valentine’s Day shoes?), don’t fret — the thumbnail swaps don’t affect your ability to checkout, and once clicked into any of these listings, you can still get a sense of what the shoe actually looks like.

With the promo effort seemingly only heating up, we’re left to wonder what possible stops Jordan Brand can pull out in the next couple of weeks. The infamous shoe releases on February 14th for $250 — check out our Jordan 1 “Bred” store list for a complete look at where you can grab yours, or check out our “Where To Buy” section below.
