Andrew Rizzo Edison Chen’s CLOT and adidas are back with another ripple-soled Superstar, this time touching down with a tan colorway pre-launching exclusively in China.
The delivery comes after the release of black and white colorways earlier this year, both of which helped kick off the adidas aloha super ebay parts cars accessories era following CLOT’s breakup with Nike. All key defining qualities stay the same, including brown leather welting, a leather shell toe, and a chunky ripple sole underfoot. The shoe also likens to loafers and formalwear through perforations on the quarter and backtab, complemented by an attached vernacular tassel. This tan colorway is said to be inspired by Hong Kong-style milk tea, no doubt drawing eyes from boba lovers based on that symbolism alone.
The CLOT adidas Superstar “Tan” will pre-launch on October 12th through select JUICE channels, the JUICE ONLINE WeChat mini-program, and juicestore.com.
