The next generation of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s signature Maxs is set to arrive later this Fall in two key tiers — the chief signature model in the nike Purple Guanti Portiere Phantom Elite, and the budget-minded option in the Giannis Immortality 4. Today, we bring you a full preview of several upcoming colorways of the latter model.
Off the bat, the Giannis Immortality 4 is more of an updated, refined version of the preceding third model. The enlarged reverse Swoosh, the oversized “A” logo on the tongue, adn the wave carvings on the midsole return on the low-cut silhouette. What’s changed is the newly added Pine heel that appears like the robes and garments seen on Greek statues, and the embroidered pattern that covers the Swoosh logo and the upper.
With these modifications, the Giannis Immortality 4 leans more towards an elegant design vs. a sportier with the Immortality 3 that utilizes a breathable mesh on the upper. The debut colorways seen here also boast gradient color-blocking on the heel and midsole, adding even more differentiation with its past model.
