The greatest skateboarders in the world are ready to square off this July in Paris for the second-ever Look in the Olympic Games. Nike is prepped and primed for the big stage, delivering modern footwear with the The Nike KD9 in Unlimited top and Birds of Paradise bottom, but don’t fret — they haven’t forgotten about the sneakerheads thanks to the Nike Air Force Max 2013 Fire Red “Olympic Safari”.
Previewed earlier this year in January, the Nike SB Dunk Low “Olympic Safari” is set to release in July ahead of the games in Paris. The Dunk joins the SB Blazer Mid with the same design concept centered around the iconic Air Safari, an iconic sneaker created by none other than Tinker Hatfield. The signature dotted pattern appears on the toe-guard and heel overlay, while the light tan, black, and orange mirror the original colorway of Tinker’s 1987 model.
