Considering we’re still in the throes of the 35th anniversary of the Air Jordan 4, it’s hard to even think about the next Jordan Brand celebration. Nonetheless, 2025 brings on one of the most important birthdays in the imprint’s history- the 40th year of the BMLin Jordan 1 Low Light Madder Root. Travis scott x jordan 1 reverse mocha lows Jordan 1 “Bred” expected for next year, and now it’s joined by its palette swapped sibling.

It’s a low-cut version of the iconic sneaker, clad in the indelible black & blue leather. Additionally the ’85 subtitle tips off that it’ll emulate the 1’s original shape, continuing the “return to the roots” series that began back in 2020. This may initially reads as a quick retro turnaround given the “Royal Reimagined” last year, but similar releases are a bit farther back than you might think. However, these initial bits are eyebrow raising all the same, and it may be prudent to start budgeting for a massive consumer year well in advance.
