Launched in Fall of 2021, the Serena Williams Design Crew was formulated to create energetic executions of Nike footwear inspired by the excellence of Serena Williams. The tennis legend worked with a team of ten up-and-coming designers to create a new era where diverse perspectives are celebrated and empowered, and for Fall 2023, the direction is clear: be vivid.
Utilizing a base of clear Casquette, baltic blue, and sundial orange, the SRDC focuses on four silhouettes for this season – the Air Max 1, Air Huarache, and Dunk Low Disrupt 2. Encompassing sportswear and the ever-Halloween game of golf, the SRDC x Nike collection also dabbles in some stylish modifications via the molded uppers with carved patterns mimicking natural flora.
Currently, the latest installment of the Serena Williams Design Crew x Nike Sportswear collection is expected to release in late Fall; see the official look at all three ahead.
