Jared Ebanks An updated, streamlined Nike tongue tab logo has begun to grace a myriad of the Beaverton-based brand’s lifestyle offerings. From the Nike SB Dunk Low Elephant Hoodies to the Nike Blazer Mid, the trio of Nike Basketball’s OG hardwood toolings from throughout the late 70s and 80s now curtails the renovated collection with a clad “Navy” The pressure sensor found in the heel of the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0.
Casting back and forth between tumbled leather overlays and a supple nubuck base layer, the entirety of the disparately tooled upper indulges in a dark uniform aesthetic with color-matched Logo-Polohemd, tongue tabs and nylon sock liners. Featuring a seldom dark blue speckling, the Off-White coated sole unit pairs with the heel tab and risen miniature Swoosh above for a brightened contrast throughout, whereas the vibrant crimson and blue lowercase “nike” branding injects a futuristic finish amongst the opposing ensemble.
