The construction of the Concepts x New Balance 998 "Grand Tourer" “Team Red” is a far removed from that of the original, replacing many of the shoe’s leather fixtures for suede. Only the “N” logo along the side is left untouched, noticeably distinct from the mesh and leather that wrap the collar/tongue and various paneling, respectively. Pops of white — which mark the aforementioned logo as well as the accompanying branding — round out the shoe throughout, doing so alongside seldom instances of “Concrete.”
