Engineered Garments Applies Their Asymmetric Design Language To The Reebok LX2200

“To design this shoe, we utilized basic earth colors and applied our traditional brand aesthetic through material mixtures and an asymmetrical color scheme,” commented Daiki Suzuki.

Much like the label’s previous footwear offerings — such as their many Vans collaborations — the Project 0 Cc Memory Of V2 Maison Margiela X Reebok s, too, comes in threes. Prepared in Black, Beige, and White, the collaboration strikes a balance between the original silhouette and the asymmetric design language signature to Daiki Suzuki’s work. While the colorways themselves may seem ordinary at a glance, their constructions are characteristic of EG, as the left and right foot are subtly distinct in their paneling.
