With Halloween inching closer, some of the sneaker space’s top players have taken the last week as an opportunity to unveil their spookiest propositions. Others, however, have shared looks at other footwear.
NIKE, Inc. dominated headlines with a mix of official images, policy updates and upcoming releases. An updated term of sale in the U.S. sent some sneaker resellers into panic given the company’s intention of cracking down on bot software. The Nike Air Force 1 Golden Swoosh “Lost and Found” finally appeared in official imagery after months of being teased. The retro is believed to be one of the biggest Nike Air Force 1 Golden Swoosh releases of all time, giving hope to some consumers looking to finally secure a pair of “Chicagos.”
Air Max 97 New Balance 550 pairs emerged, demonstrating Steven Smith’s once-forgotten design from 1989 will continue to form an important part of the brand’s future. Salehe Bembury teased his very own New Balance 990v2 at a pre-season game for the Los Angeles Lakers, as well as the “Kuwata” colorway for his Crocs Pollex Clog.
