Disparate from it’s Delta 3 relative, the low-cut model features a medley of creative textiles including cream mesh quarters, grey suede mudguards and overlays with synthetic denim panels gracing the medial mid-foot. In keeping with the namesake of Jordan’s Alma Mater, a deep navy blue heel counter works in tandem with matching pull tabs and “University Blue” accents across the forefoot. Underfoot, full-length 23 Engineered foam is inserted within the slightly aged midsole and finished with a waffle tread.
Accompanying its release, jordan university Brand and Social Status linked up with the Carolina community to aid in the release by way of content creator Kiara Arnold, the owners of Bird Pizzeria in Charlotte and Daniel Baptiste – a self-taught seamster – who are all pictured below.
