As Bad Bunny‘s “El Ultimo Tour Del Mundo” inches closer to its spring dates, the Puerto Rican megastar has taken the opportunity to unveil new pairs from his adidas collaboration. On February 26th while performing at The Forum in Los Angeles, the 27-year-old debuted an all-yellow colorway of the Response CL.
While not the artist’s first take on the Three Stripes’ “dad shoe,” the newly-surfaced sneaker introduces a new color palette to the Yeezy Boost 350 v2 BLUE TINT B37571 roster. Akin to a previously-teased adidas Performance 596, the Response CL is clad in yellow from tip of the toe to spine. Ruby-colored flair, however, interrupts the latest unite’s arrangement, which also boasts a richer shade of yellow than the aforementioned adidas Originals silhouette. Past adidas releases from Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio have drawn inspiration from the reggaetonero’s life and interests, a trend that surely continues with the yellow Response CL. An early look at the sneaker doesn’t showcase too much branding from “El Conejo Malo,” but “El Ojo” (“The Eye”) maintains its position on the heel, surely to ward off negative energy directed at the wearer.
