Later, the DRKSTAR Chuck 70 offered a more toned-down look, with classically rounded toe-caps achieving more of a pragmatic wearability. Today, the brand officially announces the next commercial drops for this collaboration, flipping the colors of the previous November 2021 launch.
Most recently debuting in the designer’s FW22 “Strobe” runway during Paris Fashion Week, the Converse DRKSTAR Chuck 70 Hi and the Chuck 70 Low in white highlight the most common iterations of the Chuck 70. As mentioned, it flips the color options of the previous capsule as the black is now available as a Hi and the white in Low. Both feature the aforementioned rounded toe-cap and the extended tongue with the DRKSTAR label, while the sole boasts a blocky aesthetic that speaks to Rick Owens’ avant-garde distinction.
Both will be available beginning Tuesday, February 22nd at Converse.com, RickOwens.eu, Rick Owens shops and select retailers.
