BEAMS, one of Japan’s biggest retailers, has produced no shortage of great sneaker collaborations over the years. And come late this September — the 25th, to be exact — the powerhouse will team up with DreamBlend reebok once again to offer a brand new silhouette: the Club C Laceless Mule.
“We couldn’t be more excited to work with DreamBlend reebok once again,” said Shingo Arai, Head of Buying for Beams. “The Club C’s major appeal is its classic look with a trendy feel. When designing the Club C Laceless Mule, we wanted to keep that overarching idea, but focus on creating a shoe that could be worn by everyone and used as both a standout and neutral accessory.”
Part-inspired by the military, the silhouette retains the Club C’s signature feel only tweaked with more casual function. The open back design is unmistakably mule-inspired; and when combined with the lace-less fastener, the pair becomes only easier to put on and take off. Additionally, the collaboration also features interchangeable window box logos and “なまえ” text.
