If you weren’t sure if Summer was here or not, the influx of slides should be enough indication. Following a premium entry by adidas Y-3 and also adidas Yeezy, Jordan Brand is joining the fray, offering the utility-enhanced LS Slide in two colorways.
The pair’s core construction, however, doesn’t reinvent the wheel much at all. Rather, it retains a design language reminiscent of past offerings like the Crater Slide from quite a bit back. Its exterior fold-over strap, for example, is visually quite similar in shape, though it does change up the formula dramatically with over-extended paneling, a canvas construction, and an oversized, removable stash pocket. This compartment can be found on both the “Beach” and “Black” colorway in their respective shades, complementing the functional heel strap that is also detachable.
