Michael Le sacai and Nike started 2021 on a rather eventful note. Alongside a number of teased three-ways, the two have more VaporWaffle colorways on the way. Very soon — possibly this April — we’ll see not only the previously revealed “Dark Iris” but also the accompanying “Sesame.”
Unlike its purple counterpart, the pair tunes into a far brighter spectrum of hues. The base, which is made of nylon all the same, tints a soft cream, while darker tan shades treat the suede over top the toe and eye stay. The dual tongues adjacent offer a similar palette, though the same can’t be said for the ribbon laces which prefer “Blue Void.” This navy tone is also utilized along the heel tab, Swoosh, and tooling, all accenting complementing white Seango.
According to EU retailers, these are set to release on April 29th. But this date, as well as that TBD US launch, could very well be postponed. For now, sit tight and expect updates soon.
