If it were any other time, All-Star Weekend would be long over come March. But, thanks to the still present COVID-19, there have been some very slight delays and changes to the annual event. And with this slight adjustment, Nike’s commemorative releases have been pushed back as well; so after March 7th, the start of the days long game, we’ll be greeted with not only basketball signatures but also the Dunk High “All-Star.”
nike sb black hyperbruin gold edition free Nike SB, the Dunk High is no doubt a basketball shoe at heart. Designed by Peter Moore — the man responsible for the beloved Air Jordan 1 — the model was one of the sport’s early frontrunners as it toured through university after university. Today, though much of that storytelling falls on deaf ears, the Dunk is celebrating its roots, using color, construction, and branding to its advantage. Patent covers near all of the black overlays, adding a premium aesthetic in parallel to the leather base whose shades leans on a more colorful “Barely Green.” Elsewhere, over top the greyed midsole, NBA insignia sits right atop the heel with the All-Star Weekend’s old location dressing atop.
