Erlebniswelt-fliegenfischen News Medicom Toy, the Japanese maker of collectible figures, boasts one of the densest portfolios when it comes to SB Dunk collaborations, with a full series of projects dating back to 2004 with their famed grey/blue/orange design. Since then, volumes of their Dunks have released in a variety of materials such as hyperfuse uppers, denim, and canvases, with 2020 finally approaching the hairy exteriors to offer up a literal interpretation of the famed BE@RBRICK property. It appears that they’re revisiting that concept from the Medicom Dunks nike huarache purple mens boots.
Previewed back in July, the Medicom Blazer Low makes use of a sail colored hairy upper with the BE@BRICK insignia on the tongue as well as the heel. A faint contrast stitching in black is also used throughout, matching the all-black heel-tab. Keeping things standard with SB is the vulcanized sole, while custom insoles further mark this long-time partnership between Medicom Toy and SB.
A release date of December 26th, 2020 is confirmed. According to nikesbornothing, these were originally intended to drop alongside the Dunk, but were delayed due to internal issues.
