Michael Le The Roswell Rayguns have kept busy with recruiting these past few months, employing a bit of help from the Air Raid, Air Flight ’89, The kids Air Max 97 Sky Nike launches at Blazer Mid. Now, after a brief lull, the roster is set to grow by one more with the unveil of this multicolor clad Air Max 1 University Red.
First surfaced in its kids size, the model dons the team’s signature colors only in seldom. Along the edges of its bubble letters, hits of black, red, and bright orange accent from left to right, placed right behind the big and bold “AIR” that cuts from smooth leather. The backdrop is similarly constructed, neutral, and also paired with the mid palette. Swooshes of embroidered and jeweled variety dress warm at the toe and counter, respectively, matching that of the top Hier whose adjacent details lean bold, setting up the Rayguns insignia that stamps behind atop the heel tab.
